The game of golf has developed tremendously in Nigeria. CRSG seeks to contribute to the continuous growth of this game, which some erroneously see as elitist. The Calabar Open Golf championship is designed to foster greater bonding, communication, social cultural and business activities amongst people of varying social and business classes. The Championship features both professional and amateur golfers of various categories, including ladies. It holds during the Easter period and dove-tails into the Easter Concert, where prizes are awarded to deserving winners.
